Chesties Challenge 2010

North Shields RFC hosted the annual end of season match between the club’s older and younger players. Andrew Leitch captained the younger side while the experienced side which was led by Jon Kenny (with a couple under age players!) just edged what was a very entertaining encounter 34-40.

3 Rifles Battle Group Wristband Appeal

All of you will know that Micky Allott recently lost his son in Afghanistan due to injuries received from a road side bomb. Because of this Micky has decided to raise funds for the 3 Rifles Battle Group Wristband Appeal which goes directly towards helping those injured and to the families of the bereaved. This will involve a Family Fund Raising Day at North Sheilds Rugby Club on Sunday 30th May with matches against the 3 Rifles and the Falcons Academy.
